“If you’re looking for both comfort and a stylish option that won’t go over budget, be sure to check out the full collection at Curvy Couture…”

C urvy Couture has made a name for itself within the lingerie market by creating practical yet beautiful lingerie for plus-sized women. The brandcreates on-trend designs that are both comfortable and fit well within the current lingerie season, offering an array ofbrasand matching bottoms that can be worn for work or play.

The brand’s tagline is “reinventing your curves”, and Curvy Couture has continually been doing that over the past few years. Many plus-sized brands start at a D cup, leaving smaller or core busted plus-sized women feeling left out. Curvy Couture is one of the only plus-sized brands that offers a C cup to match their plus-sized bands, which range from 34-46. Cup sizes C-H (US Sizing).

The brand has just launched their brand new take on a wire free option for plus-sized women, the Cotton Luxe Padded Wire-Free Bra. The bra is made of a soft, supple stretch cotton with lace trim trimming the tops of the bra cups. The bamboo cotton is lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for hot Summer days and nights. There is no underwire and instead the bra creates a nice supportive uplift with the aid of lightly padded cups that mold to your breast shape, giving it a beautiful silhouette.

I was able to review this bra, and was so surprised that there wasn’t an underwire! The band fit along the underbust very smoothly, no lines beneath clothing, and the wire-free design was so comfortable but still offered my bust lift and support, which really impressed me! Another great feature of this bra, like other Curvy Couture designs, the straps are not only fully adjustable, but they are lightly padded and covered in satin. They are so comfortable and do not dig into your shoulders, which means you can wear the bra for long work days without any discomfort or adjusting. The lightly lined straps are so soft and smooth, and along with the firmness of the thicker band, they provide a nice sleek look with added support without the need for an underwire.

Inside of the bra cups, there is a soft cotton weave that helps to keep you cool and dry. The fabric is also wrinkle resistant, which means it’s great for travel! Just fold the bra and put it in your luggage, without the added bulk of shaped cups. Curvy Couture has created a lovely option for those who are looking for a more structure than a bralette but don’t want or cannot wear an underwire. It is an ideal design for those with sensitive skin, and a great option for those who are pregnant or are dealing with sore breasts due to breastfeeding or menstruation. This bra has convinced me that comfort and lift are not mutually exclusive when it comes to wire-free options!

The brand also offers a few sexier options, including their Everyday Glamour Lacy Unlined Bra, which is an underwire bra with unlined cups. The 4 paneled cups are meant to offer both lift and shape to the bust, while the pretty purple lace fabric adds a bit of style and fashion to the piece. For added support, the inside of the cups are lined with mesh, and a tiny bow and golden charm accentuate the center gore.

The scalloped edges of the bra cups sit flush against the breast, creating a smooth look even under clothing. The band offers stretch but is also firm enough to support the bust. The satin lined bra straps feel very comfortable on the shoulders. The bra is both lightweight and soft against the skin, and the back wings of the bra hold your bust upward while providing support for the sides of your breasts and underbust as well.

If you’re looking for both comfort and a stylish option that won’t go over budget, be sure to check out the full collection at Curvy Couture and their large range of plus-sized options that aim to let you love your curves.
